Meet The Teams

Gary is a Solicitor and Head of our Conveyancing Department who has over 35 years experience of Conveyancing. A former Partner in the firm for many years, Gary now works part time in a supervisory position from our Harrogate office assisting our other fee earners. 

Gary is a long suffering Leeds United fan who recalls that they were in the 1970’s the “best team in the world.” 

He spends his spare time travelling, playing golf and angling. Gary also occasionally “treads the boards” as a member of the Wetherby Musical Theatre and Drama Group. 

Jackie Smyth has worked in the legal profession for in excess of 30 years, primarily dealing with Residential Conveyancing matters.  Jackie over time has worked in some of the North of England’s leading law firms dealing with conveyancing.

She has extensive experience in acting for clients in all aspects of residential property ranging from Freehold, Leasehold sales and purchases, registered and unregistered titles to lease extensions.

When dealing with residential conveyancing Jackie endeavors to ensure that the clients expectations are managed to meet their specific requirements and to provide an efficient and personal service.

Jackie enjoys long walks with her dog, trips to Ireland and time allowing, sitting and reading a good book.

Naheed has over 15 year’s experience in Residential Conveyancing.  She deals with all aspects of sales and purchases including, New Build properties, Leasehold sales, and purchases, Right to Buy properties , Remortgages, Auction Properties and Shared Ownership matters and deals with commercial mortgages.

Client care and a stress free transaction is paramount in her dealings as is a very happy client.

In her spare time Naheed is a volunteer for the NSPCC. She also loves travel and culture and has a background in the aviation industry, her interest in art and design has won her many art competitions including designing a logo for the National Crime Prevention panel.
