Abbi completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Criminology and Psychology at university before completing a post graduate diploma in law.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2005, then obtained her higher rights in 2010
She has been a member of the duty solicitor scheme for over 10 years
On a daily basis she represents clients being interviewed under caution, either under arrest or as a volunteer, at various locations including police stations and appears before both the magistrates and crown court dealing with all types of criminal defence work from speeding offences to murder.
She has been involved in a number of fraud cases of substantial financial complexity. She has a sound knowledge of POCA proceedings.
She is a specialist in complex conspiracy matters and firearms offences including the legislative minefield that is the Firearms Act.
Abbi has substantial experience in representing individuals and firms being investigated by both the health and safety executive and the environment agency.
She has previous experience attending and representing interested parties at Coroners inquests and also prisoners serving life sentences before the parole board.
