Legal firm that's bucking the market trend
June 23 2008
Grahame Stowe Bateson solicitors, is celebrating the opening of a second office in Middleton, which will focus on property and conveyancing.
The firm, established in 1981 by criminal lawyer Grahame Stowe, is acknowledged as one of the most experienced private client firms in West Yorkshire and now operates across six offices which are serviced by 89 employees, including ten partners.
The new dedicated conveyancing office on Middleton Park Road is headed by partners Richard Howard and Michael Heath.
Mr Stowe said: "The market is undoubtedly tough right now and our focus is on delivering a better service, not a reduced one.
"We have developed an online tracking service for conveyancing which, backed by our case management system, allows us to take the hassle out of the whole process and has been hugely popular with clients."
The firm is only one of a handful across the region to continue to offer free weekly surgeries, a commitment maintained since the very first office opened its doors.
Every Wednesday, between 5pm and 7pm, staff in each of the six offices, are available to advise members of the public on a pro bono basis.
The firm has offices across the region, spanning from its Leeds city base to Harrogate and including Bramley and Meanwood.
