Harrogate Solicitor Takes Part in March Free Wills Month Campaign

March saw the Harrogate branch of law firm Grahame Stowe Bateson participate in Free Wills Month.
Free Wills Month is a campaign which brings together a group of well-respected charities and participating solicitors to offer members of the public the opportunity to have their wills written or updated for free. It is open to members of the public aged 55 years or above and in return they make a donation to one of the Free Wills Month charities which include, amongst others, Age UK, British Heart Foundation and The Children's Society.
The Free Wills Month Campaign uses selected solicitors within a chosen location to participate each month. It was the first time GSB Solicitors in Harrogate have taken part in the campaign and the response by members of the public was very positive.
Richard Crowther, GSB solicitor specialising in Wills and Probate, commented "We are yet to receive the results of how much money we managed to raise for the charities, but we are delighted with the contribution we made.
"GSB wrote 64 free wills in the month, which not only gave those clients the opportunity to put their affairs in order, but also the knowledge that they were making a valuable contribution to charity at the same time."
